ASPARi project continues for a third phase until 2018

5 May 2014

Good news. The ASPARi network made up of most of the largest road building contractors in the Netherlands resolved at its annual meeting held on 5 May 2014 to continue funding support for the ASPARi Project until 2018.

Most of the funding will be used to support research initiatives relating to key priority areas identified jointly by the Dutch contractors and researchers of the University of Twente, who spearhead and undertake research efforts on behalf of the ASPARi network. The key priority areas include (a) the continued refining of the Process Quality improvement (PQi) methodology, (b) Towards real-time process control, and (c) Guided operational strategies for rollers and compaction. For more information on the scope of current and future research initiatives, please contact Research Leader, Seirgei Miller at s.r.miller@utwente.nl for more information.
